You OBE Techniques There are a number of different You Obe techniques available for people to use to help them astral project. With every person being an individual, what works for one person will not necessarily work for another. Many people run into difficulties with various methods though, not because the method doesn’t work, they are not able to relax. Complete and total relaxation is essential to making any You Obe techniques successful. Part of the reason for the inability to relax is fear. This is very common with those that are just starting to relearn how to astral project. This fear comes from false beliefs that a person could die or be harmed because of the You Obe. In an effort to help squash those fears the Canterbury Institute, who is known for their occult studies, conducted a research study. The study was performed on two thousand individuals, all of these people were involved in doing You Obe. The institute discovered was that no person was harmed following You Obe techniques. What is more interesting is that they did follow up on the people for the last 3 years. Not one have had any problems. Now all concerns and fears can be put aside to rest. Lets take a look at seven of the techniques of You Obe that are pretty easy. These techniques have been successful for quite a few people, many in fact. One that is known is the Monroe and consist of seven steps of You Obe or the seven techniques of You Obes:- * You must relax your body and your mind. There are numerous relaxation techniques that you can use. A simple one is just deep breathing, slowly and calmly. Deep inhales and deep exhales. Relaxing all the muscles in the body one at a time by tensing them and then releasing them, starting at the toes and working your way up the body. * Next induce a hypnotic state. This is where your body and mind are on the border of going to sleep. Don't go to sleep. Use another called the gazing method of focusing your mind on an object somewhere in the room while you are laying on a lounge or in bed. Focus, keep staring at it until you close your eyes and still see the object. * Once you can visualize the object when your eyes are closed you will need to take the state you are in deeper. A good method of doing this is glance around (with closed eyes) and notice what you are able to see. Its possible that you may see light patterns that are different, you may notice the room is veiled in purple. Don't take too much notice of this, once you cease seeing this light you will have successfully deepened your state. You are so totally relaxed now that you are no longer aware of your body physically. This is vital as per the Monroe Technique of You Obe. * This is the most vital step, according to Monroe. You to enter a state of Vibration. Many who have been practicing the seven techniques of You Obe, find that the vibrations are felt early in the projection. And they believe this is felt when you experience the astral body beginning to leave the physical body. Do not be afraid and feel the vibrations. * Control the state of vibration. To do this focus on the vibrations and make them move through your body. Do this with your mind, you want your entire body to feel the vibrations, as if waves are washing over you. Keep practicing this until you are able to bring these waves on when you want to. Once you are able to create these waves on demand you are ready to leave the body. * A vital component to successful You Obe and astral travel is control. Having control is that the one in power, is your mind . Monroe recommends practicing a \"partial separation\" to strengthen this control. Keeping mentally focused on leaving the physical body. Starting with a part of the body, like a foot or hand. Let it go the astral body. Stretching it to reach an object near you, maybe the wall, floor or another familiar object. Push your hand or foot through. After accomplishing this return your foot or hand back to the physical body Now you start to slow the vibrations and end the session. Lay down until your body has returned fully to an awakened state. * With this step you will finally leave your body. Follow steps one through six. This time your whole body will be used, not just a foot. Move completely into your astral body. A simple adjustment to step six is required. This time you are focusing on releasing the astral body instead of one appendage. Focus on releasing the astral body Thinking how light it feels. As weightless as a cloud, you can float like a feather in a light breeze. Now the astral body should move out and away from the physical body, you feel as though you are floating, or even flying. There are several methods you can try. One is the Rope Technique, another the Gazing Method, and another the Anchor Technique. Work with these for a while and see which ones will work best for you. You are sure to find the seven steps to You Obe techniques that will suite you. Spend some time working and learning them. You should, however, be aware that You Obe is not for everyone and to use and become familiar with the seven techniques of You Obe takes and requires a lot of practice. |

We can’t perceive it with our physical senses, but our astral bodies can travel through this plane of reality with ease. Even though your astral body will always return to you and you are at no danger of physical harm while astral projecting, you should exercise caution since there are some dangers in the astral plane. As long as you use common sense and basic caution though, you’ll be safe. You can find danger if your mind is not sound when you astral project. Therefore, anyone under the influence of drugs or alcohol can find themselves in a crisis. These may be the lower levels of the astral plane. You should know where you want to go and only astral project when you are in the proper frame of mind to do so. You want to have control over where your astral body goes and what it does. If you have the right assistance to prepare yourself, learning You Obe can be easy and even possible to do in a short time. There are professionals who offer lessons, but most people prefer to practice this natural talent in their own home. You can find a lot of material online to help you improve your You Obe abilities.
