The Out Of Body Experience Techniques There are a number of different The Out Of Body Experience techniques available for people to use to help them astral project. With every person being an individual, what works for one person will not necessarily work for another. Many people run into difficulties with various methods though, not because the method doesn’t work, they are not able to relax. Relaxation must be total, complete. It's essential for any of the seven techniques of The Out Of Body Experience to be successful. The inability to relax is caused by fear. It's common among those just learning these techniques. The fears are the result of false beliefs that maybe harm, or even death could come to the person who is trying astral project. To help alleviate those fears the Canterbury Institute conducted and researched a study. The Canterbury Institute is well know for their studies of the occult. This study was done on 2000 people, all of whom participated in The Out Of Body Experience. What the institute found was that there wasn’t a single person in that followed The Out Of Body Experience techniques were harmed in anyway. What is even more important is that they followed those people for the last three years. Not a single participant have complained of any problems. Now that any fears or concerns should be put to rest, it is time to take a look at a few different The Out Of Body Experience techniques that are fairly easy and have been successful for a lot of people. The first is what is known as the Monroe Technique. There are seven main steps to this The Out Of Body Experience technique:- * Firstly you need to relax. You need to relax your body and mind in preparation. Several techniques are available to you and are simple to use. Deep breathing is one and very simple. You breath everyday, but now you are going to breath deeply, slow and calmly. Do deep inhales and exhale deeply as well. Relax all your muscles one by one. Tensing first and then relaxing them. Start with your toes and work upward toward you head. * Next a hypnotic state is now necessary and this is where your body and mind border on going to sleep. You don't want to go to sleep. Use the gazing method to do this and focus on any object, while you lay in bed. Keep staring at this object, until your eyes close, but you are still seeing (with your eyes closed) the object you have been focusing on. * Once you see the object with your eyes closed you are going to need to deepen the state you are in. The best way to do this is to look around (keeping your eyes closed) and see what you can see. It is possible that you may see different light patterns, you may notice that the room is cloaked in a purple light. Don’t pay to much attention to it, once you stop seeing the light you will know that you have entered a deeper state. You are so completely relaxed at this point that you will no longer be aware of your physical body. This is important according to the Monroe technique of The Out Of Body Experience. * This step four is most important with Monroe. You have to enter the Vibration state. Several people who have been doing The Out Of Body Experience techniques for a long time say they feel the vibration early in the The Out Of Body Experience. It is thought by these people that the feel of vibration is what happens when the astral body starts to leave your physical body. Don't be alarmed, only feel these vibrations. * Now control the vibration while in this state. Focus, make the vibrations move through your body. This is done with your mind. You want to feel the vibrations through your whole body. Like waves washing over you. Practice this until you can feel the waves anytime you want them. When you can create waves on demand successfully you are ready to leave the body. * The component most keyed to The Out Of Body Experience and astral travel, is control of the vibrations using your mind. To strengthen control Monroe recommends you practice and use a \"partial separation.\" Keep your mind focused on the action of leaving the physical body. First start with a hand or maybe a foot and go from the astral body. Stretching them to an object near you like a wall, floor or another familiar object. Now push your hand or foot through that object. When you have succeeded you can return your foot or hand back to your physical body. Slow the vibrations down ending the session. Stay in the position of laying down till your body returns to a fully awakened state.. * This is when you totally leave your body. Do steps 1 -6, only instead of just releasing a foot or hand from the physical body do your whole body into the astral body. You only have to make an easy adjustment on step number 6. In place of concentrating on releasing only on body part, you are now going to concentrate on the release of the astral body, do this by imagining how light it feels, also your weightlessness as if you were light like feathers being blown in the breeze. The astral body should leave the physical body, you should have a feeling of flying or floating. Different methods are available for you to avail yourself of them. Other techniques which are available are the Rope Technique, Gazing Method, and the Anchor Technique. If you spend time trying these techniques, you will find a technique that is good for you. A technique exist for everyone and there is one out there for you. However, be aware, not everyone is able to astral project using the above techniques. These techniques take time and patience to learn and require a lot of practice by you. |

Where is it exactly that we go when astral projecting? You visit the astral plane which is to the physical universe as your astral body is to your physical body. There is no universal agreement among the experts about exactly how the astral plane is structured but most agree that the astral plane is an alternate reality which vibrates at a different rate than our own, just slightly out of sync with the universe we inhabit physically and that there are many different levels to the astral plane.. Even though your astral body will always return to you and you are at no danger of physical harm while astral projecting, you should exercise caution since there are some dangers in the astral plane. As long as you use common sense and basic caution though, you’ll be safe. You can find danger if your mind is not sound when you astral project. Therefore, anyone under the influence of drugs or alcohol can find themselves in a crisis. These may be the lower levels of the astral plane. This is why it is crucial that you know where you plan to go and what you plan to do there. Your goal is to astral project with deliberation. You should have complete awareness and control of the actions of your astral body. This control comes from your thoughts. You can learn to astral project very quickly if you prepare properly beforehand. Many individuals prefer to astral project alone in their own home. However, numerous professionals in the field of The Out Of Body Experience teach various methods to help others gain control and enjoy an enriched experience. You might even like to try both methods of learning how to astral project. There are also plenty of resources both online and in books which can help you to prepare yourself.
