An Overview
of
Projection Astral
Projection Astral is something which most of us have some familiarity
with, at least as far as we've heard the term mentioned somewhere. You may
know of it from a film, book or from someone you know.
What most people don't know is that Projection Astral is something which
is a real phenomenon and is an ability which anyone can use. You've
probably astral projected at some point in your life without knowing it.
You need to understand what Projection Astral really is. Projection Astral
is the ability of an individual to leave his or her body. Everyone has the
ability to do this; everyone does this when he or she lay down to sleep at
night. While sleeping the physical mind is resting and the subconscious
mind takes control. A person astral projects while this is happening.
However, the majority may never remember astral projecting.
Projection Astral allows you to visit any place you like and do anything
without limitations imposed by time or space. As a child, you probably
were able to do this easily every time you slept. When we age though, it’s
common to forget how to use this ability.
So what is the astral body? This is an invisible duplicate of your
physical body with no actual substance. Your astral body represents your
subconscious will and desire. So why does your astral body always return
to the physical realm? It returns because your physical and astral bodies
are permanently connected by something commonly known as the silver cord.
The silver cord first connects as the astral body enters the physical
body. This is not exhausted until after death when the astral body leaves
the physical body for the last time. This silver cord prevents the astral
body from not returning.
When we astral project, where do our astral bodies go? They go to their
natural element, the astral plane: an ethereal counterpart to the physical
world. Experts are not all in agreement about exactly how the astral plane
works, but they generally agree that there are many different levels which
make up the astral plane and that it is tuned to a slightly different rate
of our vibration than our own. We can’t perceive it with our physical
senses, but our astral bodies can travel through this plane of reality
with ease.
Naturally, you may question as to the dangers of Projection Astral. Yes
and no is the answer. Projection Astral is something we are all capable of
doing. We also know that the astral body can exit the physical body and
will return. However, as with all things you should be sensible. What this
means is that you do need good solid thinking skills and know what you
want in order to go where you want to go.
When you’re intoxicated, Projection Astral can be hazardous. Psychological
damage can be caused by Projection Astral while you’re not in control of
yourself. When you don’t have all your wits about you, you can only travel
the lowest (and most dangerous) levels of the astral plane.
This is why it is crucial that you know where you plan to go and what you
plan to do there. Your goal is to astral project with deliberation. You
should have complete awareness and control of the actions of your astral
body. This control comes from your thoughts.
With the proper preparation, you can begin learning to astral project in
little time. Most people like to do their Projection Astral while alone in
the privacy of their home. That said, there are Projection Astral
professionals who conduct group astral travel sessions in order to help
others learn how to control their Projection Astral and to make the most
of the experience. You may want to try Projection Astral both on your own
and in a group under the guidance of a professional.
You can find a lot of material online to help you improve your Projection
Astral abilities. Projection Astral hypnosis recordings are especially
useful. These recordings help you to reach the meditative state where
Projection Astral happens the most readily. Many people consider these to
be more helpful than a session with a professional since they can be
played on repeat until you’re relaxed and your subconscious mind responds
to the recorded messages.
A new audio technology called binaural beats is also effective at inducing
the state of relaxation required for Projection Astral. Two slightly
different frequencies are played over each audio channel, tuning your mind
into the proper state to astral project.
Astral projecting takes some practice, so be patient with yourself. Much
like walking, it’s something we can do naturally – but you do need to
practice and refine this ability before you can use it at will. You may
fail the first time, the second or even more, but you will soon be able to
astral project.
Still skeptical? Think back to a time when you dreamed you were flying, or
felt a sensation of falling. The flying sensation was your astral body
moving through the astral planes. The feeling of falling was when you felt
your astral body returning to your physical body.
Projection Astral is very real. Anyone can do it and find benefit in it.
However, you do have to invest time in fine-tuning your natural ability in
order to reach the kind of success you desire with Projection Astral. It
will become easier to do once you begin your journey while projecting.
Projection Astral Techniques and The OBE
There are a number of different Projection Astral techniques available for
people to use to help them astral project. With every person being an
individual, what works for one person will not necessarily work for
another. Many people run into difficulties with various methods though,
not because the method doesn’t work, they are not able to relax.
Total relaxation is essential to making the seven techniques of Projection
Astral work successfully. The inability of a person to relax is fear.
Common, if a person is just starting to learn how to astral project. A
fear that comes from the false belief that a person could lose their life
or be harmed in some way when they astral project. To abash everyone of
those fears, the Canterbury Institute conducted a study on Projection
Astral. This institute is also know for it's studies of the occult.
There were 2000 subjects involved in this study and all of them were
participants in Projection Astral. What was found was that not a single
individual, following the techniques of Projection Astral, were harmed in
anyway. Even more significant, everyone, followed for three years and not
one individual had complained of or suffered from any problems due to
Projection Astral.
All fears have been put to rest. Now lets look at some Projection Astral
techniques, which are easy and have been very successful for many people.
Monroe Technique is the first and has seven steps of Projection Astral
technique.
* Relaxing mind and body is a must. Many techniques for learning to relax
are available for you to use. Deep breathing is a simple one to use and is
just deep breathing, slow and calm. Inhale deeply and exhale deeply. Relax
all your muscles bodily, one at a time, alternately tensing and relaxing
them. You can start down at your toes and work your way up.
* Hypnosis is used frequently to produce a deep state of relaxation. Where
your mind and body are so relaxed you fall into a hypnotic state near
sleep. Do not fall asleep. You may also use another known as the gazing
method by focusing on an object as you lounge on a chair or from a
reclining position on your bed.. Focus on an object, staring at it. Close
your eyes and you will still see the same object, as if your eyes were
open.
* Now When you have successfully seen the object with your eyes closed,
you can now deepen the state you are in. Look around (with eyes still
closed) is the best way. Look around see what you can see. You will,
possibly see different patterns of light, you might also notice the room
cloaked in purple light. Don't pay much attention to it. When the light
can no longer be seen, you will have entered into a deeper state. So
thoroughly and completely relaxed, you are no longer aware of your
physical body and according to the Monroe seven steps of Projection Astral
technique, this is very important.
* This is the most vital step, according to Monroe. You to enter a state
of Vibration. Many who have been practicing the seven techniques of
Projection Astral, find that the vibrations are felt early in the
projection. And they believe this is felt when you experience the astral
body beginning to leave the physical body. Do not be afraid and feel the
vibrations.
* Now you need to control the state of vibration. Focus on the vibrations
and moving them through out your whole body. This is done with your mind
and you want your entire body to feel the vibrations, like ocean waves
washing over you. Practice continually until you can summon these waves to
you on demand as you want to. Once you have accomplished this you are
ready to leave the body.
* The key element to any Projection Astral or travel is control, your mind
has to be the one in power. To help the control to be stranger Monroe
suggest at this spot that you practice the partial separation. While
having your mind concentrating on the thought of leaving your physical
body, first let your foot or hand go of your astral body. Reach them out
to and object close to you, as in the floor, the wall, or other object
that is familiar, then reach your foot or hand through the object. Then
bring your hand or foot back to your physical body, make the vibrations
slow down, and stop the session. Keep laying down and let your body fully
return to an awake state.
* This is when you totally leave your body. This is Projection Astral! Do
steps 1 -6, only instead of just releasing a foot or hand from the
physical body do your whole body into the astral body. You only have to
make an easy adjustment on step number 6. In place of concentrating on
releasing only on body part, you are now going to concentrate on the
release of the astral body, do this by imagining how light it feels, also
your weightlessness as if you were light like feathers being blown in the
breeze. The astral body should leave the physical body, you should have a
feeling of flying or floating.
However, you should be aware that not everyone is able to astral project
instantly using the above techniques and some of these require a lot of
practice. Fortunately there is a shortcut! With recent developments in
sound technology, there are a lot of audio tools around which can help
you. These new techniques use special sound frequencies known as Binaural
beats, which synchronize the two hemispheres of the brain, putting you
instantly into the meditative state, needed for Projection Astral.
You can also get into the totally relaxed state needed by listening to
quality Projection Astral techniques hypnosis recordings. These reinforce
to the subconscious mind that it is okay for your astral body to leave
your physical body.
You should, however, be aware that Projection Astral is not for everyone
and to use and become familiar with the seven techniques of Projection
Astral takes and requires a lot of practice. |
