Illusion - Practical Astral Projection Techniques There are a number of different Practical Astral Projection techniques available for people to use to help them astral project. With every person being an individual, what works for one person will not necessarily work for another. Many people run into difficulties with various methods though, not because the method doesn’t work, they are not able to relax. Complete and total relaxation is essential to making any Practical Astral Projection techniques successful. Part of the reason for the inability to relax is fear. This is very common with those that are just starting to relearn how to astral project. This fear comes from false beliefs that a person could die or be harmed because of the Practical Astral Projection. In an effort to help squash those fears the Canterbury Institute, who is known for their occult studies, conducted a research study. The study included 2000 people, and all participated in Practical Astral Projection. What was found in the research by the institute was not one person, who followed the seven techniques of Practical Astral Projection harmed in anyway. And more important, they followed those people for three years and not one individual complained of any problems. Any fears in this area being put aside and put to rest. Now we can look at several kinds of Practical Astral Projection techniques which have been successful. The Monroe Technique is the first. We are going to go over the seven techniques of Practical Astral Projection of the Monroe. * Firstly you need to relax. You need to relax your body and mind in preparation. Several techniques are available to you and are simple to use. Deep breathing is one and very simple. You breath everyday, but now you are going to breath deeply, slow and calmly. Do deep inhales and exhale deeply as well. Relax all your muscles one by one. Tensing first and then relaxing them. Start with your toes and work upward toward you head. * Next induce a hypnotic state. This is where your body and mind are on the border of going to sleep. Don't go to sleep. Use another called the gazing method of focusing your mind on an object somewhere in the room while you are laying on a lounge or in bed. Focus, keep staring at it until you close your eyes and still see the object. * You see the object, your eyes are closed and now you need to move to a deeper state of relaxation. Look around, with your eyes closed and try to see other images in the room. The possibility is that you may see different and varied light patterns. The room may be clothed in a purple light, ignore it. But once you have seen the purple light, you will know you have entered a deeper state of relaxation. Completely relaxed, the awareness of your physical body will no longer be there and an important technique of Practical Astral Projection, according to the Monroe. * This step four is most important with Monroe. You have to enter the Vibration state. Several people who have been doing Practical Astral Projection techniques for a long time say they feel the vibration early in the Practical Astral Projection. It is thought by these people that the feel of vibration is what happens when the astral body starts to leave your physical body. Don't be alarmed, only feel these vibrations. * You now need to be in control during the state of vibration. To accomplish this you must focus on the vibrations, move them through your body and do this with your mind. Feel the vibrations within your whole body, as if ocean waves are washing over you. Practice this until you are successful bringing these waves to you on demand. When this is accomplished, you are ready to leave the body. * A vital component to successful Practical Astral Projection and astral travel is control. Having control is that the one in power, is your mind . Monroe recommends practicing a \"partial separation\" to strengthen this control. Keeping mentally focused on leaving the physical body. Starting with a part of the body, like a foot or hand. Let it go the astral body. Stretching it to reach an object near you, maybe the wall, floor or another familiar object. Push your hand or foot through. After accomplishing this return your foot or hand back to the physical body Now you start to slow the vibrations and end the session. Lay down until your body has returned fully to an awakened state. * This is when you totally leave your body. Do steps 1 -6, only instead of just releasing a foot or hand from the physical body do your whole body into the astral body. You only have to make an easy adjustment on step number 6. In place of concentrating on releasing only on body part, you are now going to concentrate on the release of the astral body, do this by imagining how light it feels, also your weightlessness as if you were light like feathers being blown in the breeze. The astral body should leave the physical body, you should have a feeling of flying or floating. However, you should be aware that not everyone is able to astral project instantly using the above techniques and some of these require a lot of practice. Fortunately there is a shortcut! With recent developments in sound technology, there are a lot of audio tools around which can help you. These new techniques use special sound frequencies known as Binaural beats, which synchronize the two hemispheres of the brain, putting you instantly into the meditative state, needed for Practical Astral Projection. You can also get into the totally relaxed state needed by listening to quality Practical Astral Projection techniques hypnosis recordings. These reinforce to the subconscious mind that it is okay for your astral body to leave your physical body. Practical Astral Projection truly is a life changing experience for everyone who tries it and by using these techniques it is possible for anyone who wishes to, to experience it. |

Projection Just about everyone has heard of Practical Astral Projection before. You might have heard someone talking about it or read of it somewhere, perhaps seen it in a film. What you might not know is that you can astral project – anyone can, in fact. You’ve already done so, though you might not remember it. First though, what is Practical Astral Projection? To put it in the simplest possible terms, Practical Astral Projection is leaving your physical body. It’s something that often happens when you go to sleep. As your body rests, your conscious mind does as well – but your subconscious remains active. This is when we are most likely to astral project, although most people do it without having any memory of the act. When you astral project, there are no limits to what you can do or where you can go. When you were young, you could do this with ease in your sleep. As we get older most of us lose our knack for this and we need to practice again to do it at will. What is your astral body? It is a non-corporeal and invisible double of your physical self. It is the manifestation of your subconscious mind and as such represents your core desires and your willpower. What keeps your astral body from leaving permanently and wandering the universe? Your physical body and your astral body have an unbreakable bond referred to as the silver cord. The silver cord first connects as the astral body enters the physical body. This is not exhausted until after death when the astral body leaves the physical body for the last time. This silver cord prevents the astral body from not returning. Where is it that your astral body goes in its travels? Your astral body goes to the astral plane, a non-physical duplicate of the physical universe. The astral plane is thought to operate at a different frequency than our own, some saying that it is an alternate universe. Most agree that the astral plane is not a single monolithic place, however. Are there any risks to Practical Astral Projection? Yes and no. Your physical body is at no risk and nothing can keep your astral body from returning, but there are some dangers. However, the risk is pretty minimal. Just keep a level head and know where you’re going beforehand. You can find danger if your mind is not sound when you astral project. Therefore, anyone under the influence of drugs or alcohol can find themselves in a crisis. These may be the lower levels of the astral plane. This is why it is crucial that you know where you plan to go and what you plan to do there. Your goal is to astral project with deliberation. You should have complete awareness and control of the actions of your astral body. This control comes from your thoughts. You can learn to astral project very quickly if you prepare properly beforehand. Many individuals prefer to astral project alone in their own home. However, numerous professionals in the field of Practical Astral Projection teach various methods to help others gain control and enjoy an enriched experience. You might even like to try both methods of learning how to astral project. There are also plenty of resources both online and in books which can help you to prepare yourself. Practical Astral Projection hypnosis recordings are an aid which many find helps them to relax and begin projecting. These recordings can be played on repeat until they reach your subconscious and you begin to astral project. A new audio recording technology called binaural beats has been shown to help people astral project as well. The listener hears two slightly different frequencies, one in each ear and the effect of these sounds is deep relaxation as the listener’s brainwaves tune into just the right frequency for Practical Astral Projection. Astral projecting takes some practice, so be patient with yourself. Much like walking, it’s something we can do naturally – but you do need to practice and refine this ability before you can use it at will. You may fail the first time, the second or even more, but you will soon be able to astral project. If you’re not convinced that you can astral project, think back to one of those dreams you've had where you're flying, then falling. This was an Practical Astral Projection, not a dream. The flying you experienced was your astral body travelling and the falling sensation was your astral body returning to your physical body. Practical Astral Projection is a very real ability which you already have. If you devote a little time and effort to practice it, your reward will be being able to enjoy this experience any time you like. |
