Out Of Body Experience Explained
An out of body experience or OBE happens when an individual has the sensation of floating outside of the body. This is a scientifically proven occurrence that usually takes place if a person is near death.
The experience of being able to view your physical body from a place outside the body is known as both an astral projection and an out of body experience. This is an idea that certainly shouldn't be scoffed at. There are countless people that were thought to be at death's door that have made it back with vivid memories of seeing their physical body lying lifelessly in a room. They can also give an unusually detailed description of the activities that were going on in the room.
In olden times, an out of body experience was called spirit walking. People have reported this phenomenon throughout the ages and it has become the subject of scientific studies in modern times.
About 1 out of every 10 people will at some time in their lives, encounter this kind of experience. The statistics are large regarding the number of people that have experienced an out of body experience, so this is something that shouldn't be viewed with skepticism.
The out of body experience could be triggered by mental or physical trauma. It may come about through the use of psychedelic drugs or happen when the body slips into a deep coma. It may even happen spontaneously or when one is in a deep trance.

There is an underlying belief that your astral body can leave the physical body for a short time. For people that embrace this belief, astral travel or out of body experiences are easier to do. This is due to the fact that this person's mind has already been conditioned to let go, which is essential to astral projection. Even the slightest fear or doubt that the astral body is going to be able to make it back is reason enough for you to now attempt any sort of out of the body experience on purpose.
If you've silenced your mind and truly believe, you will have to use some meditation in addition to self hypnosis to successfully go through an out of body experience. Think positively, telling yourself that you truly want to complete an out of body experience or astral projection. Once you allow your mind to take over, you will find that you're very receptive to the idea of astral travel.
To get started, locate a peaceful area where you won't be disturbed. Lie down with your arms at your sides and allow your aura to harmonize Mother Nature. Breath deeply, focusing on completely relaxing your physical body in a manner that will allow your astral body to venture forth and explore the dimensions far beyond your mental and physical knowledge. You will soon start to feel your body beginning to tingle. Allow this sensation. Anytime a conscious thought sneaks into your head, push it aside and focus on gentle, deep breathing.
In addition to the tingling, you may feel like your body is vibrating and your heart may feel like it is racing. Don't get excited by these feelings or try to stop them. Focus on your breathing and let the feelings engulf you. Let the out of body experience unfold and soon your astral body will be free to adventure on an amazing journey into unknown realms.

Some of them report the event is cut short due to their fear of leaving the side of their physical body.
