You should start with tiny meditational techniques for calming down your mind and to guide your energies. Attempt to visualize a rope dangling in front of you and see yourself climbing out of your body. Go into a profound trance like state and focus all of your energies on this visualization.

It is essential you need to remember when attempting astral projection is that if you feel afraid at all regarding returning to your body then you will stay stuck in your body.

You will experience a pulling effect from your body or feel a unexpected ‘waking up’ from your astral plane to this reality.
