astral project methods

In general, a majority of people have heard of the term ‘Out Of Body’. Perhaps they were introduced to the concept through an enlightened friend, or may have seen a movie or read a book on the topic.

However, few individuals understand that Out of Body is a very real event. It is something that anyone can do. More than likely you have astral projected and never even realized it.

So what exactly happens during Out Of Body? When you astral project, your astral body comes out from your physical form. Most often this happens during sleep when your body is resting. Your conscious mind rests while you sleep too; but the subconscious is still going strong and it is the source of your astral body which then leaves your body and goes out exploring the universe.

In fact, many young children engage in Out of Body without understanding what they are doing. It can happen automatically if the body is relaxed, but many adults just feel that they are dreaming. But Out of Body is real! The astral body can travel without regard to either time or distance.

This brings us to the next logical question what is the astral body? The astral body is essentially an invisible ‘double’ of your physical body. The astral body is also known as the ethereal body, and is the seat of our feelings and desires.

You may wonder why the astral body doesn’t just leave and never return. This is because the astral body remains connected to the physical body via a silver cord.

The astral body is immediately connected to the physical body upon entering it with this silver cord, this cord cannot ever be broken except through death. This cord actually protects the physical body from losing the astral body.

Where do people go during astral projecting? Your astral body goes to an ethereal, astral duplicate of the physical universe, another plane of reality. The exact nature of the astral plane is unknown, but experts agree that it is made up of different levels, each vibrating to a different frequency than the physical plane.

Are there any dangers associated with Out of Body? Yes and no you should be careful in your astral travels just as you would when going somewhere with your physical body. Generally speaking though, your astral body can sense danger and return to your physical body without suffering any harm. You should however decide where you want to go before projecting to keep the experience as safe as possible.

When you’re intoxicated, Out Of Body can be hazardous. Psychological damage can be caused by Out Of Body while you’re not in control of yourself. When you don’t have all your wits about you, you can only travel the lowest (and most dangerous) levels of the astral plane.

It is essential that you know what it is you do and where it is you want to go. Your goal is to consciously astral project. You need to have complete control of what your astral body is doing. Your thoughts control your Out of Body.

There are a number of different methods of preparation depending on whom or what you consult. Professionals all have different ways of preparing, that can provide you with the necessary information to be able to prepare and enjoy the benefit of learning how to control the experience and benefit from Out of Body. Many people however prefer to practise Out of Body in their own home.

There are also plenty of resources both online and in books which can help you to prepare yourself. Out of Body hypnosis recordings are an aid which many find helps them to relax and begin projecting. These recordings can be played on repeat until they reach your subconscious and you begin to astral project.

Recently there have been great advances in sound technology called binaural beats. This works by playing slightly different degrees of sound frequencies in either ear. This offers a very quickly relaxing and deep state of meditation to occur which is essential for astral projecting success.

Don’t be concerned if you find yourself unable to astral project the first time you try. You might not even be able to astral project the second or third time you try. Realize that this is a skill that you will need to practice. You do not have to acquire this ability; it is one we all have. We simply have forgotten how and must fine tune this inherent ability.

If you’re not convinced that you can astral project, think back to one of those dreams you’ve had where you’re flying, then falling. This was an Out of Body, not a dream. The flying you experienced was your astral body traveling and the falling sensation was your astral body returning to your physical body.

All of us can use out of body it only takes a little practice.
