Several techniques are available to you and are simple to use. Deep breathing is one and very simple. You breath everyday, but now you are going to breath deeply, slow and calmly. Do deep inhales and exhale deeply as well. Relax all your muscles one by one. Tensing first and then relaxing them. Start with your toes and work upward toward you head. * Go into what is called the hymnologic state. This is where your body and mind are almost asleep. You don't desire to go to sleep. Use the gazing method to accomplish this. As you lie in bed focus on an object and remain staring until when your eyes close that you still can picture the object. * Once you can visualize the object when your eyes are closed you will need to take the state you are in deeper. A good method of doing this is glance around (with closed eyes) and notice what you are able to see. Its possible that you may see light patterns that are different, you may notice the room is veiled in purple. Don't take too much notice of this, once you cease seeing this light you will have successfully deepened your state. You are so totally relaxed now that you are no longer aware of your body physically. This is vital as per the Monroe Technique of Mastering Astral Projection. * This step four is most important with Monroe. You have to enter the Vibration state. Several people who have been doing Mastering Astral Projection techniques for a long time say they feel the vibration early in the Mastering Astral Projection. It is thought by these people that the feel of vibration is what happens when the astral body starts to leave your physical body. Don't be alarmed, only feel these vibrations. * Now control the vibration while in this state. Focus, make the vibrations move through your body. This is done with your mind. You want to feel the vibrations through your whole body. Like waves washing over you. Practice this until you can feel the waves anytime you want them. When you can create waves on demand successfully you are ready to leave the body. * The component most keyed to Mastering Astral Projection and astral travel, is control of the vibrations using your mind. To strengthen control Monroe recommends you practice and use a \"partial separation.\" Keep your mind focused on the action of leaving the physical body. First start with a hand or maybe a foot and go from the astral body. Stretching them to an object near you like a wall, floor or another familiar object. Now push your hand or foot through that object. When you have succeeded you can return your foot or hand back to your physical body. Slow the vibrations down ending the session. Stay in the position of laying down till your body returns to a fully awakened state.. * The final stage and where you leave the body. Following steps one through the sixth. Only now you will go completely into your astral body. Not just a hand or foot this time. A simple adjust is need this time to the sixth step. You will be focusing on the release of the astral body. Think about how light it feel. You could be floating on a cloud, as light as a small feather blowing in a gentle breeze. How weightless you are. The astral body will float up from the physical body, you will like you are floating or even flying. There are several methods you can try. Projection? Just about everyone has heard of Mastering Astral Projection before. You might have heard someone talking about it or read of it somewhere, perhaps seen it in a film. However, what most of us don’t know is that not only is Mastering Astral Projection real, but it’s something all of us can do – and you’ve probably even done it before, whether you know it or not. First though, what is Mastering Astral Projection? To put it in the simplest possible terms, Mastering Astral Projection is leaving your physical body. It’s something that often happens when you go to sleep. As your body rests, your conscious mind does as well – but your subconscious remains active. This is when we are most likely to astral project, although most people do it without having any memory of the act. You go wherever you want to go when you project. If you can recall your childhood you may be able to remember having the ability to do this after going to sleep, eventually you forgot, as you got older. There is no such thing as time and distance when it concerns Mastering Astral Projection, you can go anywhere. While you are sleeping, your physical body is asleep. Your astral body travels. You probably want to know what your astral body is – it's an invisible duplicate of your physical body which is made of our emotions and our desires. Your astral body will always return to your physical body – the two are connected by a silver cord. This cord keeps your two beings connected from the moment you’re born until your last breath. As long as you live, your astral body will always come back to your physical form after its travels. When we astral project, where do our astral bodies go? They go to their natural element, the astral plane: an ethereal counterpart to the physical world. Experts are not all in agreement about exactly how the astral plane works, but they generally agree that there are many different levels which make up the astral plane and that it is tuned to a slightly different rate of our vibration than our own. We can’t perceive it with our physical senses, but our astral bodies can travel through this plane of reality with ease. Even though your astral body will always return to you and you are at no danger of physical harm while astral projecting, you should exercise caution since there are some dangers in the astral plane. As long as you use common sense and basic caution though, you’ll be safe. Mastering Astral Projection while you’re under the influence of drugs or alcohol can be somewhat risky. When you’re not in total control of yourself, your astral body is limited to the lowest and most hazardous levels of the astral plane. If you’re not careful, there is a danger of psychological harm. Just as if you were out exploring somewhere unfamiliar in the physical world, you need to pay attention to your surroundings and have a destination in mind. However, the real goal of practicing Mastering Astral Projection is to train yourself to exercise this ability consciously. When you can get your mind in full control of itself, you’ll be able to do this. If you take the time to get properly prepared ahead of time, you might find that you are able to astral project quite quickly. There are also many professionals in this field that teach different ways of helping a person gain the necessary control to have a better experience, though many people prefer to astral project alone, from the comfort of home. The internet is a good place to find help with your Mastering Astral Projection training. Especially good are Mastering Astral Projection hypnosis recordings. These recordings are designed to help you achieve the meditative state needed to astral project. A lot of people prefer these recordings to one on one lessons since they can be listened to repeatedly until their subliminal messages reach the subconscious and your body reaches a state of total relaxation. A new audio recording technology called binaural beats has been shown to help people astral project as well. The listener hears two slightly different frequencies, one in each ear and the effect of these sounds is deep relaxation as the listener’s brainwaves tune into just the right frequency for Mastering Astral Projection. You may not be successful on the first few tries, but don't let this discourage you. Mastering Astral Projection takes practice just like any other skill. It's a natural ability, but it does take some time and patience before you'll be an expert at it. Still in doubt about Mastering Astral Projection? How about an example from your own life? You’ve had those dreams where you’re flying which end with a falling sensation right before you wake up. You weren’t really dreaming – the sensation of flight was what your astral body feels like as it travels. When you felt you were falling, that was your astral body returning to your physical one. Mastering Astral Projection is a very real ability which you already have.
