Journeys Out Of The Body Techniques There are a number of different Journeys Out Of The Body techniques available for people to use to help them astral project. With every person being an individual, what works for one person will not necessarily work for another. Many people run into difficulties with various methods though, not because the method doesn’t work, they are not able to relax. Complete and total relaxation is essential to making any Journeys Out Of The Body techniques successful. Part of the reason for the inability to relax is fear. This is very common with those that are just starting to relearn how to astral project. This fear comes from false beliefs that a person could die or be harmed because of the Journeys Out Of The Body. In an effort to help squash those fears the Canterbury Institute, who is known for their occult studies, conducted a research study. Two thousand people were included in this study, all of the two thousand participated in the studies of the seven techniques of Journeys Out Of The Body.. The findings of the institute confirmed that not one person, using the seven techniques of Journeys Out Of The Body, were harmed in anyway. Even more important, the people in this study have also been followed during the past three years and not one person has complained of any problems. Now that any fears or concerns should be put to rest, it is time to take a look at a few different Journeys Out Of The Body techniques that are fairly easy and have been successful for a lot of people. The first is what is known as the Monroe Technique. There are seven main steps to this Journeys Out Of The Body technique:- * Start by relaxing your mind and body. Numerous techniques for relaxing are available for you to use. Deep breathing is one and simply, it is just deep breathing. Just breathing deeply in and out, slow and calmly. Inhale deeply and exhale deeply as well. Relax each of the muscles in the body by tensing them and then releasing them one at a time. Start with a hand or maybe the toes and work you way to the top. * Next induce a hypnotic state. This is where your body and mind are on the border of going to sleep. Don't go to sleep. Use another called the gazing method of focusing your mind on an object somewhere in the room while you are laying on a lounge or in bed. Focus, keep staring at it until you close your eyes and still see the object. * Now When you have successfully seen the object with your eyes closed, you can now deepen the state you are in. Look around (with eyes still closed) is the best way. Look around see what you can see. You will, possibly see different patterns of light, you might also notice the room cloaked in purple light. Don't pay much attention to it. When the light can no longer be seen, you will have entered into a deeper state. So thoroughly and completely relaxed, you are no longer aware of your physical body and according to the Monroe seven steps of Journeys Out Of The Body technique, this is very important. * According to Monroe, this step is the most vital. You will need to enter the state of Vibration. Many people that have been practicing Journeys Out Of The Body techniques for awhile note that they feel these vibrations early on in the projection. It is believed by them that this is the feeling you experience when the astral body begins to leave the physical body. Do not be alarmed, just feel the vibrations. * Now you need to control the state of vibration. Focus on the vibrations and moving them through out your whole body. This is done with your mind and you want your entire body to feel the vibrations, like ocean waves washing over you. Practice continually until you can summon these waves to you on demand as you want to. Once you have accomplished this you are ready to leave the body. * The key element to any Journeys Out Of The Body or travel is control, your mind has to be the one in power. To help the control to be stranger Monroe suggest at this spot that you practice the partial separation. While having your mind concentrating on the thought of leaving your physical body, first let your foot or hand go of your astral body. Reach them out to and object close to you, as in the floor, the wall, or other object that is familiar, then reach your foot or hand through the object. Then bring your hand or foot back to your physical body, make the vibrations slow down, and stop the session. Keep laying down and let your body fully return to an awake state. * This is when you totally leave your body. Do steps 1 -6, only instead of just releasing a foot or hand from the physical body do your whole body into the astral body. You only have to make an easy adjustment on step number 6. In place of concentrating on releasing only on body part, you are now going to concentrate on the release of the astral body, do this by imagining how light it feels, also your weightlessness as if you were light like feathers being blown in the breeze. The astral body should leave the physical body, you should have a feeling of flying or floating. Different methods are available for you to avail yourself of them. Other techniques which are available are the Rope Technique, Gazing Method, and the Anchor Technique. If you spend time trying these techniques, you will find a technique that is good for you. A technique exist for everyone and there is one out there for you. However, you need to be aware that the seven steps to Journeys Out Of The Body techniques are not for everyone and using these techniques require a good deal of practice. |

Explore The Universe Just about everyone has heard of Journeys Out Of The Body before. You might have heard someone talking about it or read of it somewhere, perhaps seen it in a film. What you might not know is that you can astral project – anyone can, in fact. You’ve already done so, though you might not remember it. First though, what is Journeys Out Of The Body? To put it in the simplest possible terms, Journeys Out Of The Body is leaving your physical body. It’s something that often happens when you go to sleep. As your body rests, your conscious mind does as well – but your subconscious remains active. This is when we are most likely to astral project, although most people do it without having any memory of the act. Through Journeys Out Of The Body, a person is able to go wherever they want. If you try to remember your childhood, you will likely remember being able to do this at night when you went to bed. As you got older, you began to forget. It is possible to travel anywhere, since you are not bound by time or distance in Journeys Out Of The Body. When you are asleep, only the physical body sleeps. It is your astral body that is able to travel. This brings us to the next logical question – what is the astral body? The astral body is essentially an invisible 'double' of your physical body. The astral body is also known as the ethereal body, and is the seat of our feelings and desires. You may wonder why the astral body doesn’t just leave and never return. This is because the astral body remains connected to the physical body via a silver cord. This silver cord from your astral body to your physical body was connected at the moment that the two were joined. The cord cannot be severed until death separates the astral and physical bodies for a final time. It is this silver cord that keeps the astral body from permanently straying away. When we astral project, where do our astral bodies go? They go to their natural element, the astral plane: an ethereal counterpart to the physical world. Experts are not all in agreement about exactly how the astral plane works, but they generally agree that there are many different levels which make up the astral plane and that it is tuned to a slightly different rate of our vibration than our own. We can’t perceive it with our physical senses, but our astral bodies can travel through this plane of reality with ease. It is natural at this point to wonder whether or not Journeys Out Of The Body is dangerous in any way. The answer is both yes and no. We have already established that the astral body cannot permanently leave the physical body, and that everyone is capable of Journeys Out Of The Body. But, just like anything you do, you need to be able to think effectively. Solid thinking skills are required so that you can go where you want and know what you plan to accomplish. When you’re intoxicated, Journeys Out Of The Body can be hazardous. Psychological damage can be caused by Journeys Out Of The Body while you’re not in control of yourself. When you don’t have all your wits about you, you can only travel the lowest (and most dangerous) levels of the astral plane. This is why it is crucial that you know where you plan to go and what you plan to do there. Your goal is to astral project with deliberation. You should have complete awareness and control of the actions of your astral body. This control comes from your thoughts. With the right preparation, Journeys Out Of The Body can be learned very quickly. There are professional Journeys Out Of The Body instructors who can show you how to do this, though most people prefer to learn and practice astral projecting in the comfort of their own home. The internet is a good place to find help with your Journeys Out Of The Body training. Especially good are Journeys Out Of The Body hypnosis recordings. These recordings are designed to help you achieve the meditative state needed to astral project. A lot of people prefer these recordings to one on one lessons since they can be listened to repeatedly until their subliminal messages reach the subconscious and your body reaches a state of total relaxation. There have been a number of recent advances in sound technologies, one of which is called 'binaural beats'. Binaural beats work by transmitting slightly varied sound frequencies in each of the listener’s ears. The effect of this is to foster quick entry into a deeply relaxed state of meditation, which is necessary for successful Journeys Out Of The Body. Be patient as you practice Journeys Out Of The Body. Even though it’s a natural ability, it will take some time to get the hang of it. You might fail several times, but if you stick with it you will succeed and begin enjoying your ability to astral project. Are you still not sure about Journeys Out Of The Body? Here’s an example of Journeys Out Of The Body we’ve all had. Everyone has those dreams where they’re flying, then begin to fall; and wake up. These aren’t dreams at all, but an experience of astral projecting. When you feel like you’re in flight, this is your astral body moving through the non-physical plane. The falling sensation is the feeling of your astral body returning to earth and re-entering your physical body. All of us can use Journeys Out Of The Body – it only takes a little practice. |
