Out of Body is something that you already have some awareness of. No doubt you’ve heard the phrase used in conversation, in a movie or TV program or seen it in a book or magazine.

However, few individuals understand that Out of Body is a very real event. It is something that anyone can do. More than likely you have astral projected and never even realized it.

There are a few ways that you can tell if you have already had an astral experience and more than a few ways to learn how to astral project however to look into either of these it is important to understand exactly what Out of Body is. It is a natural reflex of the body, and occurs at night when you are sleeping. When your physical body is sleeping your subconscious mind takes over, and withought realizing it, or even remembering when you wake up, you will have astral travelled.

When you astral project, there are no limits to what you can do or where you can go. When you were young, you could do this with ease in your sleep. As we get older most of us lose our knack for this and we need to practice again to do it at will.

Let’s explain the astral body. This is an invisible and non-physical version of your physical body which is the product of your will and your subconscious desires. Your astral body always comes home to your physical one because of an unbreakable bond between them which is called the silver cord.

This cord was actually connected the first moment that your astral body went into your physical body and this cord cannot be cut until your astral body departs the physical body one last time at your death. This cord is what keeps your astral body from staying away when it leaves your physical body.

Where is it that your astral body goes in its travels? Your astral body goes to the astral plane, a non-physical duplicate of the physical universe. The astral plane is thought to operate at a different frequency than our own, some saying that it is an alternate universe. Most agree that the astral plane is not a single monolithic place, however.

Naturally, the question of danger astral projecting comes to mind. The answer is both yes and no. We all have the ability to astral project. We know that the astral body can leave the physical body it will return. However, we must be sensible as with all things. out of body requires a good solid thinking skills and understanding what it is you want and where you would like to go.

Let me caution you here, if your mind is in a dark place or not right then it becomes dangerous to astral project. If you are taking drugs or drinking alcohol it is not wise to astral project because you could wind up in some bad places. The lower levels of the astral plane contain the places that are bad.

Only practice Out of Body when you are in the right frame of mind and after having decided where you want your astral body to visit in your travels.

It’s important to have full control over your astral body to ensure a safe and enjoyable Out of Body experience.

There are a number of ways to get prepared to do out of body prior to starting it. Several professionals can be found to assist you in learning various techniques so that you get to the point where you have better control so that you have a gratifying experience, but on this note people usually rather be in their own house while doing out of body.

The internet is a good place to find help with your Out Of Body training. Especially good are Out Of Body hypnosis recordings. These recordings are designed to help you achieve the meditative state needed to astral project.

Astral projecting takes some practice, so be patient with yourself. Much like walking, it’s something we can do naturally but you do need to practice and refine this ability before you can use it at will. You may fail the first time, the second or even more, but you will soon be able to astral project.

Things to look for are the feelings of flight or falling. Falling usually indicates the return of the astral form to the physical and flying is usually indicative of actually engaging in Out of Body.

Out of Body is real and just needs to be ‘relearn’ as deep down you know what to do. Most people simply need to remember this skill and then fine-tune it.
