astral projection guide

Astral projection is something which everyone has at least some familiarity with. It’s something you may have seen or heard about in a book or in a movie.

However, there are only a small number of people that understand that astral projection is both real and something that anyone and everyone can do. In fact, many people have actually experienced at least one astral projection in their lives and while some may be aware of this experience, many people are not.

First, it is a good idea to understand what astral projection is. In simple terms, astral projection is the ability to leave ones body. Everyone has this ability, and everyone does this at night during sleep.

While we sleep, our physical body is at rest, the subconscious mind then takes control. While this is going on an individual is astral projecting, although for the most part, they will not remember doing so.

When you do project you get to go wherever you want. As you remember when you were a child, you probably can recall doing this as you went to bed, as you grew up you have forgotten it though. You have limitless possibilities of places to go, there are no restrictions as far as distance or time where astral projection is concerned. When you are sleeping your physical body is at sleep, while the astral body goes on a journey.

But what is your astral body? This is a duplicate of your physical body made of your subconscious will and desires. It is invisible to the eye and is tied to your body by a silver cord; so your astral body will always return after its travels.

This silver cord was connected the first time the astral body entered the physical body and can not be severed until the astral body leaves the physical body for the last time, death. It is the silver cord that prevents the astral body from straying away.

Often times the question of where the astral body actually travels will come up with discussing astral projection. The astral plane is the realm of the astral body and it is through this plane, which consists of many levels that the astral body travels. The astral plane has several different theories that surround it. The first is that the astral plane is an alternate dimension of reality which overlays the physical. Another is that it happens to come in contact with the physical world through vibrations, which puts the astral plane on another wavelength separating it from the physical world. No matter what particular description is used to explain the existence of an astral plane, experts in the field agree that there are multiple levels to this alternate plane.

After learning this information, it is only natural to start to wonder if there are any dangers to astral project. The answer is not as simple as a straightforward yes or no. While astral projection is something that everyone is capable of doing and that the astral body is attached to the physical body by a tie that can only be broken by death there is still a need to remain conscience of what is going on while astral projecting and be in a state to maintain that frame of mind.

The danger is when you astral project when your mind is clouded or incapacitated. For example, if your mind is impaired by alcohol or drugs, you might end up in bad places. These places are the lower levels of the astral plane.

You should know where you want to go and only astral project when you are in the proper frame of mind to do so. You want to have control over where your astral body goes and what it does.

If you are well prepared ahead of time, you may find that you are able to astral project very quickly.

Many like to astral project while at home alone, but you can also attend group sessions which are guided by professionals. These sessions can help you learn to get the best results from your astral projection and can be a good way to get started. It may be helpful to practice on your own as well as with a professional’s guidance.

The internet has a wealth of information on astral projection and there are a number of books, which describe a number of techniques that can be used in order to prepare the mind and body for astral projection. There are even recordings that use hypnosis to assist in astral projection.

This helps you get totally relaxed along with taking you through that various levels. This is often the preferred method over a professional approach, because you can replay the recording as much as you need to get your subconscious mind to get the message about when it is alright to begin to astral project and leave your physical body.

There have been a number of recent advances in sound technologies, one of which is called ‘binaural beats’.

Binaural beats work by transmitting slightly varied sound frequencies in each of the listeners ears. The effect of this is to foster quick entry into a deeply relaxed state of meditation, which is necessary for successful astral projection.

The first few times you try to astral project, you may not succeed. Don’t get discouraged.

Realize that this is a skill that you will need to practice. You do not have to acquire this ability; it is one we all have. We simply have forgotten how and must fine tune this inherent ability.

If youre still skeptical about astral projection, think back to those dreams you’ve had where you are flying and then suddenly following which you may have had right before waking. Flying is how your astral body travels and the falling sensation was your astral body returning to your physical one; it wasn’t a dream at all!

Astral projection is real! Anyone can do it and benefit from it, if they take the time to fine tune their natural ability.
