astral projection another

We are all born with the ability to astral project. Practice is the only reason some astral project and some do not.

Astral projection is a technique with a long pedigree, just as that possessed by yoga and meditation.

Astral projection is known by a lot of different names and there are several ways which you can astral project.

Lucid dreaming is one type of astral projecting. Lucid dreaming is of course when we are conscious of our dreaming this is actually astral projecting. In order to lucid dream, all you need to do is to tell yourself ‘I am dreaming’ while in the dream.

With lucid dreaming, you are in control of your dreams and actually, you are astral projecting! However, becoming an expert at this can take a little time so it is not the best way to go for those just learning to astral project.

You need to believe that astral projection does work and is a reality. You have already experienced it but you do not realize it.

Have you awakened from a dream still fresh in your mind, which seems as though you really lived the experience? These dreams are an actual experience of astral projection.

The key to success in astral projection is to believe you can do it. Any doubts or fears you have will only hold you back and make it harder for you to astral project.

Meditation and other relaxation techniques can help you start getting ready to astral project. Meditation is probably the best way to begin; look for a meditation technique which allows you to achieve the total relaxation needed to astral project.

Choose a room where you will not be distracted, have a comfortable place to sit and where you will be able to have peace and quiet.

Begin to eliminate all thoughts from your mind and focus on your breathing. You want to take deep, slow breaths in thorough your nose, out through your mouth. If you can remain focused on your breathing, you’ll begin to feel yourself relaxing.

Achieving an altered state of consciousness is the next level of astral projection. Consistantly breathing deeply and slowly to keep your mind clear and stay relaxed is the goal at this state.

The breaths you take should come from deep down inside.

As your breathing slows down, focus more and more on relaxing your body.

Focus on separate areas of the body, beginning with your toes. Tense each part of the body and relax as you work your way up from your toes to your head. As you exhale, tell yourself, ‘my arms are relaxing and I am relaxing.’

With each exhalation, you should feel the tension leaving your body. Once your body is completely and totally relaxed you will be ready to move onto the next stage necessary for you to successfully astral project.

You will want to go to sleep by now, but do not do that. Find a way to stay alert. Try repeating a command as some experts recommend such as ‘I’m flying, I’m flying.’ It does not matter what it is, just something to keep you alert enough to avoid falling asleep.

The mind tends to get bored when it is not doing anything, which can mean that it will drift and find something else to focus on. You don’t want that to happen. If the mind wanders then you need to quit the session. To help bring the mind back repeat your phrase.

There are different ways to achieve a state of altered consciousness. You can repeat your chosen phrase or do it another way. Imagine a glowing light, and then imagine you entering it and transforming yourself into this body of light. This is referred to as the body of light technique.

There are a few sings to be aware of that you are successfully starting to astral project. You’ll feel like you are moving while your body stays in place. You’ll start to see colors and lights, even with your eyes closed.

Last, it is said that you will hear voices that will tell you to stop or encourage you to keep going. This state lets you know that you have achieved astral projection.
