Explore The Universe There are a number of different Astral Plane techniques available for people to use to help them astral project. With every person being an individual, what works for one person will not necessarily work for another. Many people run into difficulties with various methods though, not because the method doesn’t work, they are not able to relax. Complete and total relaxation is essential to making any Astral Plane techniques successful. Part of the reason for the inability to relax is fear. This is very common with those that are just starting to relearn how to astral project. This fear comes from false beliefs that a person could die or be harmed because of the Astral Plane. In an effort to help squash those fears the Canterbury Institute, who is known for their occult studies, conducted a research study. A group consisted of 2000 individuals, all participated in Astral Plane. The institute discovered not a single person, who followed the seven steps of Astral Plane was harmed in anyway. More importantly these people were followed for three years and not one person complained of any problems. All fears have been put to rest. Now lets look at some Astral Plane techniques, which are easy and have been very successful for many people. Monroe Technique is the first and has seven steps of Astral Plane technique. * Relaxing mind and body is a must. Many techniques for learning to relax are available for you to use. Deep breathing is a simple one to use and is just deep breathing, slow and calm. Inhale deeply and exhale deeply. Relax all your muscles bodily, one at a time, alternately tensing and relaxing them. You can start down at your toes and work your way up. * Go into what is called the hymnologic state. This is where your body and mind are almost asleep. You don't desire to go to sleep. Use the gazing method to accomplish this. As you lie in bed focus on an object and remain staring until when your eyes close that you still can picture the object. * Once you can visualize the object when your eyes are closed you will need to take the state you are in deeper. A good method of doing this is glance around (with closed eyes) and notice what you are able to see. Its possible that you may see light patterns that are different, you may notice the room is veiled in purple. Don't take too much notice of this, once you cease seeing this light you will have successfully deepened your state. You are so totally relaxed now that you are no longer aware of your body physically. This is vital as per the Monroe Technique of Astral Plane. * From what Monroe says, this is the most vital of the seven techniques of Astral Plane. The state of Vibration is the next to accomplish. People who have practiced the techniques of Astral Plane have noticed they feel these vibrations early into the projections. These people believe the feelings experienced is believed by them that this is the feeling when the astral body leaves your physical body. Nothing to be alarmed about, it is the vibrations you feel. * Control the vibration state. To accomplish this concentrate on the vibrations and succeed in getting them to move through the body. You do this using your mind, your desire is for your whole body to have the vibrations, like waves rolling over you. It will take practice for you to encourage these waves to start as you want. Once you can do this step you are ready to exit your body. * A vital component to successful Astral Plane and astral travel is control. Having control is that the one in power, is your mind . Monroe recommends practicing a \"partial separation\" to strengthen this control. Keeping mentally focused on leaving the physical body. Starting with a part of the body, like a foot or hand. Let it go the astral body. Stretching it to reach an object near you, maybe the wall, floor or another familiar object. Push your hand or foot through. After accomplishing this return your foot or hand back to the physical body Now you start to slow the vibrations and end the session. Lay down until your body has returned fully to an awakened state. * Finally, the step where you will leave the body. Follow all the steps from one through six. This time, you are not releasing just a foot or hand from the physical body. You are going to completely move into your astral body. A simple adjustment is needed, an adjustment to step six. You are not going to focus on one small part of your body, but you are going to focus on the entire astral body. Start by thinking how light your body feels, how weightless it is, like a tiny feather gliding in a soft breeze. At this point the astral body should be moving, out of the physical body. You have the sensation of floating or even flying. Several other methods are available for you to try. One is the Rope Technique, and there is the Gazing Method, and also the Anchor Technique. Take some time and spend it practicing the seven steps of Astral Plane techniques and see what works best for you. There is a astral technique available for everyone and there is one for you. However, be aware that Astral Plane is not for everyone and using the techniques described in this article require a lot of practice. |

Astral Travel Just about everyone has heard of Astral Plane before. You might have heard someone talking about it or read of it somewhere, perhaps seen it in a film. However, what most of us don’t know is that not only is Astral Plane real, but it’s something all of us can do – and you’ve probably even done it before, whether you know it or not. But what is Astral Plane, exactly? This is the ability to leave one's physical body – this is something which often happens while we are sleeping. When our bodies are at rest and our conscious minds largely disengaged, our subconscious remains active. You may not remember doing so, but you have almost certainly had some experience with Astral Plane. Astral Plane allows you to travel to any place you can imagine. You can visit the past, explore the future or go anywhere in the present that you focus your mind on. Your astral body knows no distance and can go anywhere and to anytime while your body is asleep. So what is the astral body? This is an invisible duplicate of your physical body with no actual substance. Your astral body represents your subconscious will and desire. So why does your astral body always return to the physical realm? It returns because your physical and astral bodies are permanently connected by something commonly known as the silver cord. This silver cord from your astral body to your physical body was connected at the moment that the two were joined. The cord cannot be severed until death separates the astral and physical bodies for a final time. It is this silver cord that keeps the astral body from permanently straying away. You may wonder where you may go when you astral project. The astral body goes to the astral plane. It is the invisible double of the Earth. It has a faster vibration than the physical Earth and its vibrations penetrate to the centre of the Earth. Some define it as another dimension of reality. However, the majority agree that there are many levels of the astral plane. Are there any dangers associated with Astral Plane? Yes and no – you should be careful in your astral travels just as you would when going somewhere with your physical body. Generally speaking though, your astral body can sense danger and return to your physical body without suffering any harm. You should however decide where you want to go before projecting to keep the experience as safe as possible. The danger is when you astral project when your mind is clouded or incapacitated. For example, if your mind is impaired by alcohol or drugs, you might end up in bad places. These places are the lower levels of the astral plane. This is why it is crucial that you know where you plan to go and what you plan to do there. Your goal is to astral project with deliberation. You should have complete awareness and control of the actions of your astral body. This control comes from your thoughts. With the right preparation, Astral Plane can be learned very quickly. There are professional Astral Plane instructors who can show you how to do this, though most people prefer to learn and practice astral projecting in the comfort of their own home. You can find various other resources such as books online. For instance, you can create the right state of mind by listening to quality Astral Plane hypnosis recordings. It will help you relax and walk you through the various stages. This is beneficial since you can continue playing the recording repeatedly until your subconscious mind picks up the message that it is all right for you to leave your body. A new audio technology called binaural beats can also help you to begin astral projecting quickly. These are slightly different frequencies which are played into each ear. These frequencies relax you and allow you to easily attain the mental state needed for Astral Plane. You may not be successful on the first few tries, but don't let this discourage you. Astral Plane takes practice just like any other skill. It's a natural ability, but it does take some time and patience before you'll be an expert at it. Are you still sceptical about Astral Plane? Let’s talk about the times you’ve done it yourself then. Those dreams of flying which end with a sensation of falling right before you awake that we all have – those are not dreams at all! These are Astral Plane experiences. The feeling of flight is your astral body travelling and the feeling of falling is your astral body returning to the physical plane. Astral Plane is something which any one of us can do and it will become easier with practice. |
