Astral Body projection Understood

Just about everyone has heard of astral body projection before. You might have heard someone talking about it or read of it somewhere, perhaps seen it in a film.

However, what most of us don’t know is that not only is the astral body real, but it’s something all of us can do – and you’ve probably even done it before, whether you know it or not.

First though, what is astral body projection? To put it in the simplest possible terms, astral body is leaving your physical body. It’s something that often happens when you go to sleep. As your body rests, your conscious mind does as well – but your subconscious remains active. This is when we are most likely to astral project, although most people do it without having any memory of the act.

When you’re astral projecting, you can go anywhere and do anything. Maybe you dimly recall being able to do anything you wanted in your dreams as a child. You were probably astral projecting but as you grew up; you lost this talent to disregard the bounds of space and time. With astral body projection, your body is at rest while your astral self takes off and explores.

The next question is what the astral body is. It is the ethereal body. The astral body is the invisible duplicate of the body. It houses all our desires and feelings. Does the astral body projection leave and not return? A silver cord connects the physical and astral bodies together.

This silver cord from your astral body to your physical body was connected at the moment that the two were joined. The cord cannot be severed until death separates the astral and physical bodies for a final time. It is this silver cord that keeps the astral body from permanently straying away.

When we astral project, where do our astral bodies go? They go to their natural element, the astral plane: an ethereal counterpart to the physical world. Experts are not all in agreement about exactly how the astral plane works, but they generally agree that there are many different levels which make up the astral plane and that it is tuned to a slightly different rate of our vibration than our own. We can’t perceive it with our physical senses, but our astral bodies can travel through this plane of reality with ease.

Even though your astral body will always return to you and you are at no danger of physical harm while astral projecting, you should exercise caution since there are some dangers in the astral plane. As long as you use common sense and basic caution though, you’ll be safe.

The danger is when you astral project when your mind is clouded or incapacitated. For example, if your mind is impaired by alcohol or drugs, you might end up in bad places. These places are the lower levels of the astral plane.

You should know where you want to go and only astral project when you are in the proper frame of mind to do so. You want to have control over where your astral body goes and what it does.

With the right preparation, the projection of your astral body can be learned very quickly. There are professional astral body instructors who can show you how to do this, though most people prefer to learn and practice astral projecting in the comfort of their own home.

There are also a number of books and online resources available. For example, by listening to a quality astral body hypnosis recording, you can enter the right state of mind. This type of recording will help you fully relax and will take you through the necessary stages. The advantage of a recording over a professional session is that you can play the recording multiple times until your subconscious receives the message that it is okay for the astral body to leave the physical body.

A new audio technology called binaural beats can also help you to begin astral projecting quickly. These are slightly different frequencies which are played into each ear. These frequencies relax you and allow you to easily attain the mental state needed for the successful projection of your astral body.

You may not be successful on the first few tries, but don't let this discourage you. astral body projection takes practice just like any other skill. It's a natural ability, but it does take some time and patience before you'll be an expert at it.
