| Are Astral Body Projection Used A Lot? There are a number of different Astral Body Projection available for people to use to help them astral project. With every person being an individual, what works for one person will not necessarily work for another. Many people run into difficulties with various methods though, not because the method doesn’t work, they are not able to relax. Complete and total relaxation is essential to making any Astral Body Projection successful. Part of the reason for the inability to relax is fear. This is very common with those that are just starting to relearn how to astral project. This fear comes from false beliefs that a person could die or be harmed because of the Astral Body Projection. In an effort to help squash those fears the Canterbury Institute, who is known for their occult studies, conducted a research study. There were 2000 subjects involved in this study and all of them were participants in Astral Body Projection. What was found was that not a single individual, following the techniques of Astral Body Projection, were harmed in anyway. Even more significant, everyone, followed for three years and not one individual had complained of or suffered from any problems due to Astral Body Projection. All fears have been put to rest. Now lets look at some Astral Body Projection, which are easy and have been very successful for many people. Monroe Technique is the first and has seven steps of Astral Body Projection technique. * You must relax your body and your mind. There are numerous relaxation techniques that you can use. A simple one is just deep breathing, slowly and calmly. Deep inhales and deep exhales. Relaxing all the muscles in the body one at a time by tensing them and then releasing them, starting at the toes and working your way up the body. * Enter into the hynagogic state. This is simply the where your mind and body are bordering going to sleep. You don’t want to go to sleep. You can use the gazing method to do this. Focus on an object as you lay in bed, and keep staring at it until your eyes close and you are still able to see the object. * Once you see the object with your eyes closed you are going to need to deepen the state you are in. The best way to do this is to look around (keeping your eyes closed) and see what you can see. It is possible that you may see different light patterns, you may notice that the room is cloaked in a purple light. Don’t pay to much attention to it, once you stop seeing the light you will know that you have entered a deeper state. You are so completely relaxed at this point that you will no longer be aware of your physical body. This is important according to the Monroe technique of Astral Body Projection. * According to Monroe, this step is the most vital. You will need to enter the state of Vibration. Many people that have been practicing Astral Body Projection for awhile note that they feel these vibrations early on in the projection. It is believed by them that this is the feeling you experience when the astral body begins to leave the physical body. Do not be alarmed, just feel the vibrations. * Now control the vibration while in this state. Focus, make the vibrations move through your body. This is done with your mind. You want to feel the vibrations through your whole body. Like waves washing over you. Practice this until you can feel the waves anytime you want them. When you can create waves on demand successfully you are ready to leave the body. * Use your mind- A key component to astral travel and projection is control and your mind is the one in control. Monroe recommends that to help in the strengthening of this control, you can practice a \"partial separation.\" Keeping focused, with your mind, on leaving the physical body. Starting first with a foot or a hand of the astral body and stretching it towards a familiar object. Maybe a floor, ceiling or wall. Now, which ever extremity you choose, push it through that object. Then pull back and return back to the physical body. Slow down the vibrations, end the session and stay unmoving where you are laying until you have returned to a fully awakened state. There are other methods that you can try, such as the Rope Technique, the Gazing Method, and the Anchor Technique. Spend sometime trying different techniques to see which will work best for you. There is an Astral Body Projection technique for everyone. There are several methods you can try. One is the Rope Technique, another the Gazing Method, and another the Anchor Technique. Work with these for a while and see which ones will work best for you. You are sure to find the seven steps to Astral Body Projection that will suite you. Spend some time working and learning them. However, you need to be aware that the seven steps to Astral Body Projection are not for everyone and using these techniques require a good deal of practice.
