Many different astral projection techniques are available for people to use and help them astral project. Every person is unique and what works for one person will not necessarily work for another. Many people run into difficulties with various methods though, not because the method doesn't work, they cannot relax.

When you are looking at making astral projection techniques work, you will discover that total relaxation is a must. Far too many people are afraid of the idea of losing control, and especially if you are just getting started, this can be a little unnerving. All fears have been put to rest. Now lets look at some astral projection techniques, which are easy and have been very successful for many people. Monroe Technique is the first and has seven steps of astral projection technique.

* Start by relaxing your mind and body. Numerous techniques for relaxing are available for you to use. Deep breathing is one and simply, it is just deep breathing. Just breathing deeply in and out, slow and calmly. Inhale deeply and exhale deeply as well. Relax each of the muscles in the body by tensing them and then releasing them one at a time. Start with a hand or maybe the toes and work you way to the top.

* Next go into what is called the hynagogic state. When the body and mine are just on the edge of falling into sleep. Don't go to sleep though! This is where you can utilize the gazing method. Start by focusing on particular item while laying on the bed, and keep looking at this item long enough that when you close your eyes that you can still visualize the item.

* Even as you see the object, eyes closed you need to go deeper into the state you are in. To do this, and this is the best way, look around (eyes still closed) see what you. You might detect varied light patterns and the room may become cloaked in a purple light, pay no attention to this. And when the light is gone and you no longer see it, you know you are in a deeper state. Completely and totally relaxed at this point you are no longer aware of your physical body. An important technique of astral projection, according to the Monroe.

* According to Monroe, this is the most vital step. Now you need to get into the state of Vibration. Many of the people who have practiced astral projection techniques for sometime note the feeling of these vibrations are early in the projection. It is also believed by these people this is the feeling experienced when the astral body starts leaving the physical body. Not to be alarmed, feel the vibrations.

* Now you need to control the state of vibrations. You need to focus on the vibrations, move them all through your body. This is done with your mind. You want the vibrations felt all over your body. Like waves of the ocean washing over you. Practice until you succeed in bringing these waves on as desired. Once you accomplish this and create these waves on demand, you're ready to leave your body.

* The component most keyed to astral projection and astral travel, is control of the vibrations using your mind. To strengthen control Monroe recommends you practice and use a "partial separation." Keep your mind focused on the action of leaving the physical body. First start with a hand or maybe a foot and go from the astral body. Stretching them to an object near you like a wall, floor or another familiar object. Now push your hand or foot through that object. When you have succeeded you can return your foot or hand back to your physical body. Slow the vibrations down ending the session. Stay in the position of laying down till your body returns to a fully awakened state..

* The final stage and where you leave the body. Following steps one through the sixth. Only now you will go completely into your astral body. Not just a hand or foot this time. A simple adjust is need this time to the sixth step. You will be focusing on the release of the astral body. Think about how light it feel. You could be floating on a cloud, as light as a small feather blowing in a gentle breeze. How weightless you are. The astral body will float up from the physical body, you will like you are floating or even flying.
